Famous Punjabi singer Hardy Sandhu reached Lovely Professional University campus today. Cricketer turned singer Sandhu enthralled LPU Students with his singing art.  The star presented his biggest song of 2014 "JOKER", for which music is composed by B Praak and lyrics are written by Jaani.  He not only sang many other songs from his famous albums including ‘Soch’ but also interacted with LPU students from the schools of Performing Arts, Film Production & Journalism. Students asked about his life, future plans, and tips about singing, performances, production etc. Students also sang and danced along with him on his famous rhythmic songs. In fact, his songs are solid mix of contemporary music and upbeat songs. He is sure that his new album is going to be different to attract all kinds of music lovers.
Sharing with students Sandhu told them that once he was a well known cricketer and also represented the Punjab state cricket team many times. His first goal was to become a cricketer and join the Indian cricket team. However, a fatal injury made him a singing star instead of a player. He also said: “One should never get disheartened, life is meant to do big deeds and be successful with determination. On getting injury, I set a new goal with my Guru who trained me in folk and classical singing. The results are before you all-I believed in myself and changed my ways to get success.”

LPU Pro Chancellor Mrs Rashmi Mittal wished all the best to the young singer for successful outcome of his new album ‘JOKER’.
