Studying under LPU scholarship program Yateesh shares: “My family is not financially strong, and one can easily think what this advanced job-offer really means for a poor student like me. In addition to huge scholarship amount from LPU, my parents have also arranged a bank loan for me. I always used to remain in tension about thinking of pathetic condition of the family and myself. Now I am very happy on having secured career ahead only by being at LPU. I am totally tension free, so are my parents and they are happy on their preference to allow me to study at LPU which is far away from my home town. Similar are the views of another scholarship student of Pharmacy program, Pemba Lahmo who hails from a small village of Leh. Lahmo says: “Had there been no provision of coveted LPU scholarship program, I would never have even dreamt of continuing my studies. In addition, LPU study-environ has let me grow in such a way that I have good job in my hand even quite before clearing my final examinations.”
