LPU annual Fest-“YOUTH VIBE-2016” opened with 50,000 Students’ Gathering

Providing the biggest annual competitive platform to talented international and national students of different universities and colleges; Lovely Professional University gave a start to five-day global open fest- “YOUTH VIBE- 2016” at its campus. This mega campus festivity is witnessing more than 50,000 students’ participation from 200 institutions of India and other countries. The event is a unified national level property with 110+ competitions in cultural, management, technical, literary, social, sports and allied activities. Mammoth congregation of student fraternity is not only going to compete on all the days but will also be able to win cash prizes worth Rs 20 Lakh. International food & fun carnival, rock- shows, celebrity- visits, hair-raising mo-bike stunt show, and tech exhibitions have made this event a gorgeous youth festival. Students in large number from South, North East, West, North region and many other countries have reached LPU Campus to participate in this open competitive fest.
Each day, there will be a star night including performances by world famous International DJ MorganJ, DJ Carnivore, DJ Aveedo, and DJ Elenkay. Grand musical performances by Indian rock band ‘The Local Train’, fashion parade ‘Paridhan’, mo-bike stunt-show, concerts, celebrity visits, exhibitions, fun and food carnival will add to its grand festivity. Miss India Earth (2014) Alankrita Sahai will judge LPU Campus Princess for Miss India Auditions to accord direct entry to the final round of Miss India 2017 to be held in Mumbai.  In fact, winner of this competition gets wild card entry for Miss India auditions in Mumbai.

Every year this open fest is providing students ample opportunities for healthy competitions to showcase their ground-breaking performances and intelligence in almost all areas.  This year, we have invited teams of top institutions from far and wide so that there must flourish a proper competitive spirit among all students.”

Illustrative, commencing from today, the fest which is a feast for the mind and the senses will last up 22nd October. Offering something for everybody, the fest will bring all a kaleidoscope of experiences, from the moves of a dancer to the buzzer of a quizzer; from the innovation of a pi-copter to the strategy of best business plans; from the angles of a photograph to the expressions of an actor; from a gala star night to a global summit on social challenges; from vintage automobiles to gen-next concept cars.
